How much is a lower bowl ticket nowadays, avg. I hate progressive pricing so an average would help me. 😀

I’d be stunned if any seats down there were anywhere near under $100 ea.  I buy most of my tix off Stubhub and when I do, it’s usually for the Lofts.  I did buy center ice club seats for the final game, and before fees they were $177 ea (included the buffet).

I used to just walk up to the ticket booth at BBA and buy tix right there for most games.  I was broke in my youth but I never found the price to be overly prohibitive, and I could always find affordable seats.

For the Nashville game a couple weeks ago, I paid $31 to sit in section 13. I was happy to get such good seats at that price, but also angry because of WHY the prices were that low.

Thnx. Well I will never attend a game at those prices! A lot higher than the 17 aka 55  bucks. I guess I will continue to use radio. Cost and no way to get there.  I can envision what is being broadcast.  Good luck folks.

Yeah simple case of individual “Is it really worth it to me?” preference, where there’s no right or wrong; people spend whatever disposable income they have on the things that makes sense to them.  I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money to attend a sporting event, especially since there’s expenses beyond that (such as parking, for starters).

Once it became increasingly clear that the Devils weren’t turning this thing around, I almost completely stopped going, after having gone plenty in the first four months.  I don’t mind paying to go (especially since I enjoy the time spent with my daughter, who I go with most of the time), but it gets to a point where if they‘re going to be a hot mess most nights, I can watch that at home, save the money and time spent driving to and from the Rock, and just change the channel when I’ve had enough.

Can someone explain why we lose the tiebreaker to Calgary for the 9th OA draft pick.  Same record, same ROW, we split the season series and they are -18 and we are -19 for goal diff.

We had one more regulation win than they did and that tie breaker comes before all that other stuff. We had 33, they had 32.

I too want hockey players on this team. Whoever is running the socials shouldn't have even posted this...

Ironic quote coming from a guy that seemingly didn't come in to work for about 5 months straight at one point.

What I hate about some of Fitz's recent quotes is that almost from the BEGINNING he clearly didn't like some things that he saw, but the way to deal with all of that was to...do next to nothing?!  At the very least, I would've shortened Lindy's leash considerably if I had observed that from the same first-hand perspective that Fitz had.  If you see patterns developing that you don't like, here's a crazy idea...maybe ADDRESS IT?!  I know Lou is past his prime and I wouldn't want him back, but think if he saw the same sh!t, that any of that would've flown under his watch?  No fvcking way.

Anyway, goes back to the same thing at this point...it's all about the actions now.  That's why I'm trying not to make TOO much of these quotes for now.  But they're not making Fitz look great at the moment.

Remember when he said something like, "hoping and praying for things to get better isn't a plan" or something like that around when he fired Lindy? That's what he was doing... Hoping and praying things would get better. That was his response to all these things. Really odd he would continue to place trust in people that were not performing up to the standard that was expected.

Good maybe they can turn him into a man finally

What a weird comment. Dude literally has as iron man streak of 246 games (plus playoffs) going, and we’re questioning his toughness?

Not his toughness, just his drive. This season was a complete disaster for him, hoping for better

I don’t know that it was disastrous, but it was definitely disappointing and will almost certainly work against Dawson when he negotiates his next contract, which is likely to be a bridge deal rather than long-term agreement.

Hard to call a 20 goal season a complete disaster. Now, it would be nice to see him get his point totals up a bit, but he just doesn’t seem like he’ll ever be a big assist guy. Not sure his drive is really an issue either though. Not when he scores pretty much all of his goals from the dirty areas.

The balance of Dawson’s career (especially offensively) has definitely been inconsistent (often wildly so), but the same was true of Bratt until he turned the corner at 23.  Still doesn’t feel like he’s reached his true ceiling.

Still suspect he’ll be a key piece moved in a deal for a goalie, especially if it involves Saros.

Question Mark-storm.  He’s not a solution…he’s throw-it-against-the-wall-and-hope-it-sticks.  Calgary would absolutely rejoice if they could dump his cap hit.
