dali
Eurohockey.net confirms this transfer, so it is a legit piece of news on the KHL site. Waiting for TSN to cover it too. Click Thanks, Sarge, for everything and all the best to St. Petersburg.

MantaRay
Great for Sarge, I am so happy we don't get to see him in another NHL teams jersey. He is still a very good player and would have improved one of the non-playoff teams PK/PP. Thanks for memorys Sarge.

Yes, plenty of heads for old Sarge! . And I agree that I would much rather see him go to Russia then to play for another NHL team. This way, Sergei ends up being a career Devil! Jake
I wonder if he regrets not picking up his option.
Triumph
I wonder if he regrets not picking up his option. I'm sure he's getting half as much money, tax-free, to play in his homeland, versus the 1.52 million he would've gotten to play for Lowell, Massachusetts. NJTommo44
I will miss Sarge... I remember buying tickets for a game once in the late 90's, and a woman holding a young girl walked up to the will call window. The woman behind the counter asked the little girl who her father was, and she excitedly said, "Sergei Brylin"....I have had a soft spot for him ever since. Best of luck Sarge.
