Derlique
http://www.nhl.com/ice/preview.htm?id=2010020128&navid=sb:preview Big Story: Neither team has won yet on home ice this season, which would seem to benefit the Devils as the visitors on Wednesday night. However, little has gone right in general for New Jersey, which has the NHL's worst percentage of points to games played. "We're all really frustrated with the start we've had, the results we've had," forward Zach Parise said after a 3-1 loss to the rival New York Rangers on Sunday. "You've got a lot of frustrated guys in here." CarpathianForest
I predict a San Jose win. Big Joe Thornton, Patty Marleau, Dan Boyle, Devin Setoguchi and Dany Heatley. Too much for our lame D to handle.

GA Devil
Wish I could be there. I'd be rockin' the Brylin sweater. Alas! A GL o' F keeps me from the rink but in front of my TV.

Joonas #6
I predict a San Jose win. Big Joe Thornton, Patty Marleau, Dan Boyle, Devin Setoguchi and Dany Heatley. Too much for our lame D to handle. + Joe Pavelski
CarpathianForest
Thanks. Forgot Joe Pavelski. If Nittymaki starts in net tonight it's going to be hard for the Devs to score. He typically does pretty well against them.
BlueSkirt
LGD. but i think it goes 3-2 SJ.
CarpathianForest
If the Devils lose this one maybe MacLean will get $hitcanned and Ken Hitch will come in like some here think is a decent move. I picture Ken's arrival at Devils HQ will resemble something like this:
bdubdevs
Figure after we lose this game, Lou brings A-Train to Anaheim to take care of MacLean. Lou takes over behind the bench, nothing changes, but it'll be entertaining to see A-Train and Lou smirk at each other every once in awhile about MacLean's "leave of absence." That being said, LGD. Make up for the defensive deficit with the offensive talents that have been underachieving thus far. The best we can hope for is a 4-3 or 5-4 win with this defense going up against an offensively gifted team in San Jose.

CarpathianForest
LET'S GO DEVILS!!! Tonight is the start of the turnaround after that terrible beginning I like your enthusiasm but tonight will be just more of the same: A solid 1st, horrible 2nd, and a 3rd where we're trying to play catch-up. Result: FAIL
