Gotta give Husso credit for stopping Mercer, that was a key save. We played better in the 2nd than we did in the 1st and I expect the 3rd to be even better. When we play responsible hockey, i.e. minimize our turnovers, limit the chances we take, and prevent odd man rushes, few teams, especially the one we're playing tonight, can compete with us. It's blatantly obvious. We saw it last year, we were so composed and controlled when we had the puck, and our speed organically showed itself over time. If we keep guys back in the D-zone and work the puck up the ice with a smooth breakout like we saw at the end of the 2nd there, we're gonna succeed. You can already see the Wings were having to dump the puck in, and it's beginning to frustrate them.
