Devilsdude530
Figured we should have a thread for these 2 events, since Devils are participating in them. Go Devils involved!

MantaRay
Skills competition is the ONLY thing I will watch. The young guns format is NOT hockey and the All-Star game itself is a joke.
metallidevils
is there any way to stream live video of this?
Voros19
According to XM Rafalski is in the hardest shot competition???
Triumph
According to XM Rafalski is in the hardest shot competition??? How embarassing. Rafalski better fake an injury or something - anyone want to bet none of his shots reach 90?
Devils731
Rafalski will be the only shooter in the contest firing wrist shots looking for deflections.
NJDevs4978
Even I would laugh at the thought of Rafalski in the hardest shots competition, but who knows. You hear stories in baseball about non-sluggers like Wade Boggs who can put on a HR derby show in batting practice. Maybe Raf can actually fire the puck and doesn't do it in games just because his wrist shot is so much better (and more accurate)? msweet
If Rafalski wins the Hardest shot...... wtf has been doing all these years?
Vinnie
I really hope Rafi just skates up to the puck and takes a wrist shot.
LA03
Rafalski will be the only shooter in the contest firing wrist shots looking for deflections. Hahaha. Go Devils! I'll be watching some of it, maybe, if I get out of class early enough---if my roommates aren't watching some already--though my friend Karen loves staring at "hot hockey players" her favorite part of games are when they're not wearing helmets before the game. So this means I'm always at games waaaay too early.
Deke
If rafi started taking slap shots during a game, what would doc say? "Back-hoed to the net by Rafalski! Went wide!"
'7'
Rafalski has perhaps the most deflectable shot in the NHL...but he's really being thrown to the wolves with the hardest shooters.
devils26
The young guns format is NOT hockey and the All-Star game itself is a joke. How is the Young Guns game set up this year?
BUDevil
Brian Rafalski spent part of today greeting returning US troops in Dallas at the airport. It's a really nice gesture, Miller was there also, but I wonder if any of the troops actually knew who he was?
GOLDJR41
I can't wait to watch. Oh wait, I don't get Versus. Way to go NHL
Satans Hockey
Way for INHD to be showing the the Phoenix Suns at Washington Wizards on the HD channel instead of the youngstars and skills contest. What a fvcking joke.

NJDevs4978
I'd love to see Rafalski go up against Phaneuf for the hardest shot, that'd be the biggest mismatch since Whitey's penalty shot against Mike Richter Parise scores first for the East YoungStars yay. Ironic too after the sideline guy mentions Parise's penchant for getting the team's first goal.
