The rule book says intent to injure is a match penalty, but god forbid they call such an infraction on that piece of sh!t. Elbow clearly out going for the head, but nope nothing to see here, blinded by the bright lights brah!5 points

I remember Rags fans telling me how dirty Stevens hit on Kozlov was. And Rags fans tell me Trouba is a clean hitter. That’s why Rags fans some of the most hated fans in ALL of sports. So fvckin delusional.4 points

He came in saying guys would sit.... and then he sat Nemec... and only Nemec. Smith made countless bad penalties, never saw a reduction in ice time (yes, he is absolutely my whipping boy but he was BRUTAL before and after the change). Luke could have very justifiably sat a game or two, just like Simon, but never happened. They brought up young guys, never let them get a feel, even after they had blown their chance at the post season. It was the perfect time to see what some guys had, and reward some of the Utica horses, and they kept status quo. Good riddance to Green.4 points

This. When the season was lost and we could have played some prospects and see what they could do, they kept trotting out Smith and Tierney for whatever reason I will never understand. Also brought up players from Albany and never played them.3 points

And the piece of sh!t that he is moved his skate towards Necas at the end. Just so dangerous and dirty. The league should be suspending players even if there’s no contact. The intent should be punished. Also, how that wasn’t a minor penalty for charging or elbowing (again, intent) is beyond me it was so obvious.2 points

Man, I wish he would've injured himself. So strung up on head hunting that he gives himself a concussion on a dirty play attempt2 points

But the 5v5 production! The goals/60! Does my tedious, long winded analysis mean nothing to the coaches of team Sweden??? Not a good look for Holtz there. This would have been good for him.2 points

Zacha is doing well in Boston and the fans like him. I think the organization failed Zacha and Sharongovich. I do believe they are failing to develop Holtz too.2 points

‘The Ottawa Senators appear to have hired a new head coach who believes in tough love—a coach who will tell players what he thinks and hold them accountable, like it or not.’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Riiiiiight Who was held accountable here? Anyone besides Nemec?2 points

The Devils definitely need a disciplinarian, but it’s important they find the right disciplinarian. Based on the team’s play on his watch, Green isn’t that guy. I wish him well with the Senators, but I’m happy Fitz is exploring other options.2 points

I think that as a fanbase there is still a legacy of us being used to your goaltender being able to play 70+ games in the regular season. Anything less is seen as a failure. Especially since the guy that used to do it mostly ate pizza.2 points

I was considering that the 4th win. Larsson, Hischier, J Hughes and Nemec2 points

Going back to the Larsson draft, we’ve “won” the lottery four times in like 13 drafts, right? Cant be too disappointed.2 points

This is what I was talking about when Trouba hit Kadri. Does the NHL want hits like it’s 1999 or a skill game? Just because the player avoided the hit, it doesn’t mean that players should get away with it. That deserves a penalty and a fine/suspension. Next player may not be so lucky. However, it will take someone like McDavid taking a hit like that with an injury.1 point

I was going to say the same thing... Feel like it could have been charging or elbowing, or both. Maybe even intent to injure, given the optics and that dirtbag's track record.1 point

That’s not just on Green. Where was Fritz? Both Meier and Hughes were injured. They should have been shutdown and brought up players to show what they can do. The entire organization ran like sh!t all season long, from the top down.1 point

Ghost. He’s becoming our Swedish Ghost… EDIT: and I am a huge defender of him and wholely subscribe to him being screwed by Lindy narrative, but he’s gotta start showing us a lot more next year, it’d make or break time.1 point

Yikes. Cmon Holtz get your ass in gear. I fully expect him to come into camp (if he isn’t part of a trade) on a mission. Anything less will be a red flag.1 point

This is giving me PTSD from all the bullsh!t calls the refs made against the Devils against the Rags in game 6 and early in Game 7 until it was out of reach, last year.1 point

Oh ffs all you have to do is stay out of the box. Carolina is handing them this game.1 point

Rangers player kicks his leg out and trips a Canes player...no call. Fox hits Guenztel in the face...no call. Guenztel retaliates...Rangers power play. Laviolettte's teams seem to enjoy taking cheap shots and embellish to get calls their way. His Canes teams pioneered the dive and this Rags team is taking embellishment to new heights.1 point

Canes score with 5 seconds left in the period. Hopefully it’s nice and demoralizing.1 point

Re: Allen, he’s here as the vet backup. C’mon, every NHL goalie should be able to start 50 games or they’re not NHL-worthy? There’s plenty of room in the NHL for solid backups who are expected to start 20-30 games in any given season.1 point

Allen can’t handle a starter’s workload at his age. They would basically be conceding another year if they go into next season with that as their plan.1 point

With how volatile and unpredictable the goaltending position has become the last decade, I wouldn't give up a top 10 pick plus a top D prospect and a proven young forward for what "could be" a top goalie in the future. Obviously teams aren't trading the Vasi's and Shesterkin's of the league, but there's only a select few proven goaltenders that I'd be willing to give up a substantial amount for. Anything else seems like a crapshoot. Almost better off going with a guy like Allen, if you ask me. What more could that guy have done in the 20 or so games he was here? If we can't find a goalie at a reasonable price, give him an opportunity next year to see what he can do, and maybe we use a second or third round pick of our own on a goalie this year or next year and hope to get lucky.1 point

I want Canes to lose. I’m so sick of them. It’s too bad that the Rags have to do it. Then I’ll root for whoever plays against Rags… then kicks the Rags out.0 points
