Random Poster
Still waiting for SD's 2010-2011 scapegoat eh? Right now it's Tallinder, LA. Tallinder is not living up to that contract as it's not working right now. LA, Tallinder should be given less ice time right now and let Fraser and Urbom play as the kids need more ice time right now. Johnny Mac needs to show more confidence in Taorima right now as he's better then Tallinder right now. (LOL....can't you just see that post coming?) Random Poster
Still some things with this team that haven't changed. The only plus is, when they take the play, they can dominate a shift. This can get 0-3 real fast if they don't watch out. I bet Ovechkin and Crosby are licking their chops to get at Urbom, Taormina and Fraser. Rolston is still useless no matter how much they are trying to up his worth in the media.

newjerseydamo
Saw some things i was not happy with. Fraser: i really don't know why we dressed 7 d men, he was useless. Not happy with his play at all. Langs: didn't look very happy at all at the start when they were calling out the roster, he looked lackluster for the first 2 periods and only perked up toward the 3rd period. Even then he wasn't looking that great on the ice. He also couldn't get a shot on net very easily. The new Rolston? Overall our D looked hesitant like last year. They need to finish checks and even though they don't want to get out of position, they do need to be a little more aggressive chasing the puck. The ZIP line and Elias/Arnott were great, but the rest of the forwards didn't seem to be there. Rolston/Zub/Clarkie picked up in the second half of the game however. Hopefully it's just settling nerves and building chemistry and confidence with all the new players and lines, and hopefully they build up better as the season progresses.
