the rags have no fear of brodeur. nor should they.
Everything else about us should scare them
Yep, this is how it is. Devils have to stay out of the box, even though the Rangers PP stinks, their PP differential has really helped them out in the playoffs.

I only watched the last two games of the Rags/Caps series, but Lundqvist gave up soft goals in both. He's human.
The Flyers were so impressive coming out of their series with Pittsburgh that they overlooked NJ. Hopefully NJ's impressiveness against Philly doesn't have them overlooking NYR.
Devils can win this. No doubt.

That being said, I hope PDB and the gang have a plan to get around the blocked shots.

But they REALLY need to get that split. Going home 0-2 is a scary proposition

The Devils CANNOT lose. So as far as am concerned they won't. There's too much at risk here: on one hand we would be done, on the other we'd be giving the Rangers the chance to play for the
...oops.
We can't give them the rite of passage....

Obviously as the lower seeded team, you always 'need' the split in games 1 and 2.
But they REALLY need to get that split. Going home 0-2 is a scary proposition
I like that we play at the Garden first. I like just trying to go in there and only have the pressure of winning one.

I can't even begin to put into words what it would mean to win this series.
For me it means that I can, not shoot myself in the face.

Rangers have played a LOT of hockey thus far in the tournament. Devils need to take advantage of that.

There's no way on earth they'll overlook the Rangers, that's about the 'only' thing I'm confident in this series.
We need the good Marty in this series. Game 7 against Florida, second half of the season Marty, otherwise we don't have much of a chance. Marty could make mistakes against Clemmer/Theodore and Bryz cause they would make them back. Against Lundqvist and their five other goalies it becomes that much harder to overcome a mistake though.

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

If you ask a Ranger fan that should be easy since the league apparently has it in for them.

Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.
How do you spot risk? How do you avoid risk? And what makes it so risky?

Devils in 5.
The Rangers will win in 6 but the Devils will win in 7. You know what I'm talking about New York Post.

The Rangers are going to be gassed. Two seven-game rounds is going to be a huge factor if the Devils keep playing like they did last round - they can wear 'em down.
I agree. Devils in 5.
