It would be one thing if they were in the East and kept running into the Lightning or something, but to not be able to come out of the west even once? They need to sort their goaltending out in a big way. They’re really waisting the prime years of the best player on the planet. McDavid will turn 27 in the middle of next season. I think Florida is really in the driver’s seat though. I could see that one being a really short series if Carolina loses again tonight.
