Amberite
Very sad: http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Hockey/NHL/2010/09/16/15377261.html Former NHL coach Pat Burns has taken a turn for the worse, according to news reports. The 58-year-old Montreal native has been fighting a battle with terminal lung cancer for a number of years. That battle, it appears, could end in the next few days. Burns, who spends most of his time in Florida, has apparently returned to his home in the Quebec town of Magog and is surrounded by family. Amberite
Thoughts and prayers are with him. Here's hoping he has one more miracle left in him so he can make a HOF run next year. It doesn't look like it's going to happen, but it would make me so happy if he were able to experience his induction into the HOF. I'm still pretty pissed about how he was snubbed this year, even after all the media attention devoted to it. The people who were inducted this cycle REALLY couldn't wait one more year? thegame346
GOD DAMMIT! Could this week get any worse for the Devils franchise? I'm not usually one who says "go win it for the gipper" but god damn it we need to win the Cup for him.
