If I'm Seattle, I would take Price. Yes his contract is awful, but you need to make floor somehow. Plus he is from that area so he would be super happy to go there. Then Montreal would be screwed.1 point

Yeah, I'm not surprised at all. On the one hand, he looks like a great solider and team player, waiving his no move clause to help out the team in a tough spot, and on the other hand he probably doesn't expect to get claimed due to his contract, and if he does, he probably wouldn't care - at this stage of his career why wouldn't he welcome the chance to play for a new team and try to win a Cup? Makes a ton of sense to me.1 point

Very similar, though then we were not in 1st...but I don't think we were as injury plagued either, especially with the Lindor and deGrom news. Today was like a 1-2-3 knockout combo almost. Seems like a lot of the good fortune we enjoyed earlier this season will now start to even out0 points
