Devils01
Thank god I missed this one. What an embarrassment.... I hope everyone who was left in the arena was booing and throwing sh!t on the ice because that's what i would have done. Disgusting.... JohnnyP.
Agree with the not fun to watch sentiment. We know the defense is bad. Devs should at least be scoring goals. Very little to no chemistry .. so disappointing

If we’re going to kill Hynes now for all of our players sucking he has to at least get some credit for Hall’s breakout year. That’s fair, but I don’t think anyone is giving Hynes credit for anything right about now.

The thing is, you can say "fire him" about any coach and unless they retire after winning a cup, they'll probably end up fired or "stepping down" and you'll be "right"

DevilMinder
This isn't the top problem for the Devils on the PP, but it is among them ...PP2 has not scored a goal. Sifting through the rest of the league, it looks like NJD is the only team without at least one. NJD has 6 guys w/1+ power-play points. EDM has 8. Other 29 teams have 9+.— Corey Masisak (@cmasisak22) December 1, 2019

Daniel
It's almost 10 pm, do we know where our coach is? Sadly, we all do and he's not going anywhere.

Maybe firing him isn't going to fix all the ills but if you watched that sh!tshow today (or really any day of the last couple years) and don't conclude they need to clean out the entire coaching staff then you must be a family friend or relative of one of them. It's just not going to get any better with Hynes and there's no reason so many younger players should be regressing while veteran guys like Hall, Zajac and Subban look like bums. The only way we're going to find out if it gets better without him is to make a change. Edited December 1, 2019 by NJDevs4978

HellOnICE
If he waits too long and I’m the owner who may feel the coaching staff needs to go - then I’m clearing out Ray and Hynes.

If we still suck under a new coach, firing Hynes was a solution to nothing. I still take that chance, don’t get me wrong.
ajsgolf
Devils fans have no right to chant rangers suck or “you suck” after they score a goal (which rarely happens). All fans who do should be escorted out of the building (gonna need a lot more staff). How bout chant “we suck” after getting scored on or just shutting the fvck up if and when they do score, have no right saying anyone else sucks when the devils are either the worst or 2nd to worst team in the league. Keep chanting fire hynes though, or “fvck you hynes”

It's unfortunate that the actual owners absolutely love Ray. Think about it, on the same day Ray obviously leaks that he's trading Hall, the team gets absolutely embarrassed and Hynes' stupid face is still here. Our owners are the same people who intentionally lost in Philly, except with the Devils they get to go all in on it because there is literally not a single sportswriter who cares enough to ask them about it, forget about giving them sh!t for it. If anything, hockey writers are really really dumb and think Ray Shero is some kind of genius and is actually not doing what everything else he does suggests he's doing. Not a minute passes where I don't curse the day the team hired Ray Shero.
