Rock
That was the longest one I ever felt. Lived in New Jersey my whole life. 4.8 is pretty big for this area.
RunninWithTheDevil
That was nuts, I thought a tractor trailer accidentally backed into the office
Colorado Rockies 1976
I’m in CO at the moment so I missed this, but yeah, everyone in my work building in NJ thought a truck ran into the building.

It definitely felt different; I had a feeling it was an earthquake, but it was like WTF when my desk started shaking. We evacuated our building immediately.
pumpkin cutter
that was fun! I'm ok never feeling/hearing that again.
eaglejelly
Thank goodness I'm in CA this week where I am safe from earthquakes 😉
DevilMinder
My friend lives in Lebanon, his foundation got cracked in a few places. I was driving on the highway and didn't feel anything but my phone started blowing up from everyone messaging me. Crazy
njbuff
I felt it for about 7 seconds here on Long Isand. My dog was going nuts though. That was hilarious. But otherwise it wasn’t funny at all.
StarDew
2 miles from epicenter. Felt the entire 30+ seconds. Everything in condo shook including curtains and blinds. Several kitchen cabinets opened. The sound was awful too.
Lateralous
Reminds me of one of my favorite memes from the last earthquake we felt in Philly in 2011. Epicenter was in Virginia.

Yeah I remember that one; we didn’t really feel anything in Jersey that time though. This was definitely next level. It legit scared me. DevilMinder
How'd everyone do with eclipse?
Henry Killinger
This is pretty much the same view I had of the eclipse in VA. Sliver of sun thru the clouds.
Rock
Fine! Sat on a lawn chair in my back yard put on Pink Floyd Eclipse and watched. Some cloud cover but they passed at the right time. (Little side note my dog wanted my daughter's attention so she nipped at my daughter. Told her not only did she get to see the Eclipse, but also saw stars.)🤪

Also I think you're the one who liked Dune a lot but I gave it a second chance and really liked it, I think I just wasn't in the mood when I first started it. Saw the second in theaters and really enjoyed that one too.

We’re seeing Alex Garland’s Civil War this weekend. I like a lot of his movies, and I’ve heard this one is really intense.
