I realize that schedule making is extraordinarily difficult, particularly when it involves teams who share arenas with other teams playing different sports, but common sense needs to prevail in these situations. Â It makes zero sense for the Devils to play 7/8 of their season before facing a team from within their own conference for first of three meetings.
