NJDfan1711
Am I missing something or wasn't Kovy off to a decent start this season? And also, what kind of situation is it when the team says you can practice with your teammates but you're not going to suit up and play with them? Lol

Lol “We have to pay you, but we don’t have to play you”. Not sure why that’d be if not performance.

NJDevils1214
9pts in 17 games. Not horrible. Seems like it is a personality thing.

Only 3 in his last 13. He’s had a lot of invisible stretches since coming back. The fact that he’s still allowed to practice with the team indicates that he’s not seen as a negative presence. The Kings would’ve told him to stay away otherwise. As a King: 81 GP, 19 G, 23 A, -36, and being healthy-scratched more than once for multiple games. Ouch. Never should have come back. aylbert
He’s a 6mm, 35+ PP specialist, with an extra year left on him and a NMC. That’s not good for LA.

Chimaira_Devil_#9
Kakko's play is warming up. 2 goals last night, 6 on the season. Jack still a point ahead with the same amount of games played. Going to be a great battle for years to come.

He has 6 G in 16 GP on his season, on 20.0% shooting. He's starting to get his shots...he only had 11 SOG though his first 8 GP, and now has 19 SOG in his last 8 GP. Puny sample stuff of course, but it looks like he's starting to settle in. Jack of course has 4 G and 5 A in his last 10 GP (even though he's been held pointless in 3 out of his last 4). Not like I'm rooting for Kakko in the slightest, but in his and Jack's case (and select others) I'll always be amazed how some of these baby-faced kids are able to not only adapt fairly quickly to the NHL, but even show signs of thriving. T0asterleav1ns
Kappo Kakko loves the smell of his own farts, and thinks Van Halen was better with Sammy Hagar.

They're teenagers, its crazy to me how well they're developing and assimilating. And at some of their sizes too. It used to be if you were too small you'd never get a chance, now it almost doesn't matter.

And they LOOK like teenagers too...not like Hughes is a Lindros-like manchild. He truly looks no different than most 17-year-olds that you see attending games, wearing jerseys (especially on draft night, where they're not wearing any equipment). That's the part that forever blows me away...sure, Hughes is developing and is far from a finished product, but as a guy who won't turn 19 until MAY, for him to put together a nine-point in 10 GP run...there's vets playing who have NEVER done that, and never will.

Devilsfan118
Kakko looks really, really good over the last few games. He's going to be a special player. Should be a fun rivalry for our teams, considering Nico and Patrick hasn't been much of a competition. 40 minutes ago, DevsMan84 said: Some rumors going around that Philly is soon going to announce that Nolan Patrick will be out the rest of the season. Brutal. Feel bad the kid, really. Not so much that the Flyers picked a total bust at 2OA, though.
titans04
Kakko has been getting better but he's still a complete disaster in his own end but clearly he can finish. Fox has been the better player of the two imo. Looks like a really good two way dman that has great offensive instincts. Wish we had one of those @ 21. Forgetting that he's a Flyer...I really feel for that kid. I have a feeling his NHL career is going to be very short-lived, solely because it looks like his body simply won't be able to take the wear and tear of playing. It's quickly getting to the point with him that he'll just have to move on from being a hockey player, and focus on his health and well-being.
